Acrytech Standard Acrylic
Project Type
Four-Court Expansion
Project Summary
This project was a four-court expansion for Tampa Pickleball Crew within an existing warehouse facility in Ybor City, Florida. The build rebuilt a deteriorated concrete slab into an indoor playing environment, with multiple colorways and a designated championship court. The result is a cohesive facility built for recreational and competitive play.
Scope & Execution
The project began with site evaluation to determine optimal court orientation and drainage strategy. Our team completed grading, base preparation, and concrete installation to meet precise tolerances, followed by premium surfacing and finishing systems.
Construction Considerations
Two-inch concrete cap installation to restore and level the existing slab
Multi-court layout design to maximize space within the warehouse bay
Dual colorway approach to distinguish the championship court from standard courts
Integration of divider systems to improve play flow and court separation
Unique Challenges
Working over severely damaged and inconsistent existing concrete
Maintaining level tolerances across a large indoor slab footprint
Adapting court layout within structural constraints of the warehouse
Project Context
Adaptive Reuse for Competitive Covered Play
A private residential installation designed to integrate with the surrounding property while delivering a high-performance playing surface.
